low-carbon concrete technologies catalyzing change in the concrete space.
Focused on concrete innovation and sustainability, it is one of Asia’s largest
producers of low-carbon concrete, backed by world-class inhouse R&D capabilities
and advanced digital technologies.
Pan-United firmly believes in concrete as an engineered product that can play a
significant role in decarbonizing the environment, so as to ensure a safer world
for future generations.
Over two decades, the company has transformed into a technology company
with deep domain knowledge and advanced digital capabilities. It is constantly
developing high-performance solutions and adopting new technologies to stay
ahead of the sustainability curve.
Pan-United has pledged to offer only low-carbon concrete by 2030, offer carbon-neutral concrete by 2040, and to become a carbon-neutral company by 2050.
In Pan-United’s Innovation Centre, an in-house team of material scientists and engineers develop specialized concrete products to cater to urban needs. The company often works in close collaboration with agencies, institutions and customers to develop concrete solutions designed to specific requirements.
Pan-United’s range of over 300 specialized concrete products has shaped iconic buildings and infrastructure in Singapore. These include iconic urban structures such as Jewel Changi, the Helix Bridge and Gardens by the Bay to residential towers like Pinnacle@Duxton and Reflections at Keppel Bay.
Pan-United’s low-carbon concrete has also played an integral part in molding Singapore’s infrastructure – Tuas Mega Port, Changi Airport Terminal 3, MRT Lines (Circle Line, Downtown Line and Thomson-East Coast Line), as well as many other highways and bridges. Not to mention, countless institutions such as hospitals, schools and many more! In fact, low-carbon radiation-shielding concrete and high-density concrete from Pan-United were used to build the National Cancer Centre of Singapore. Currently, Pan-United concrete is being used to build upcoming mega developments such as the mega Tuas Port, North-South Corridor, Cross Island Line and Jurong Regional Line.
In 2021, Pan-United committed $50,000 for bursary awards to deserving students pursuing undergraduate degree programmes at Nanyang Technological University. Under this arrangement, Pan-United will contribute $10,000 per year for five years starting from the 2021/2022 academic year to selected students in relevant disciplines - namely the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, School of Computer Science and Engineering, and School of Materials Science and Engineering. The selected students will also be given work exposure in their six-month industrial attachments with Pan-United.
